Lets raise our glass to everything we are thankful for this Thanksgiving with a Low Carb Rum Root Beer Float! What a treat!!
Floats are usually served in the summer but I love them all year around.
Yes, this Low Carb Rum Root Beer Float is so easy to make and you can make it with alcohol or without alcohol. You can even drink it with frozen cream our straight cream.
I like the frozen version because this Low Carb Rum Root Beer Float is nice and cold without diluting my drink with melting ice.
My favourite pop beverage is ZEVIA and root beer is one of my favorite flavor, I also like the Cola, Cream Soda, there are many more flavors to choose from. The reason I like the Zevia Brand is because there is know colouring in it, the pops are all clear and they use Stevia to sweeten them. They even sell them caffeine free!
In this recipe I am making enough frozen cream for 4 drinks and the nice thing is you can leave the frozen cream in the freezer until you are ready for your next Low Carb Rum Root Beer Float.
So lets get started and I will show you how to make it!
Ingredients
1 cup whipping cream
1 ounce white rum or vodka
1 ounce of whipping cream not whipped
In a medium bowl whip whipping cream until it form stiff peaks.
Divide the whipping cream into 4 piles on parchment paper or silicone mat on a baking sheet.
Place in freezer until frozen. ( You can use the frozen cream when needed, just place the extra frozen cream in a container seperated with parchment paper in the freezer until you are ready for your next drink.
You can frost the glass by putting it in the freezer or just use it right out of the cupboard.
If just making one drink, add one quarter of the frozen cream into a glass, pour in your zevia pop, add 1 ounce of rum or vodka (optional) and pour 1 ounce of whipping cream.
Add a straw and enjoy.
