Low Carb Ham, Stuffed with Love, Broccoli and Cheese
Why eat plain old ham? Let’s spruce it up with Broccoli and Cheese!! It is a great combination and very low in carbs.
Tip: Buy a Pre Cooked Ham, go to your deli department and ask them to slice the ham approx. 1/8th inch thin. It is harder to slice your own evenly, but it still will do the trick.
Sliced Cooked Ham, 1/8” thick
Broccoli
Mozzarella Cheese or Havarti Cheese (any cheese you like)
Toothpicks
Herbamare Spice (found in Organic Isle in your local grocery store or health food store)
Take your broccoli pieces, place in a bowel with little bit of water. Put in microwave for 25 seconds on high to soften (if you want your broccoli softer keep in longer)
Take first piece of ham lay out flat, line up broccoli pieces in center of ham, have broccoli florets pointing out each end of ham to stop cheese from coming out, sprinkle with herbamare seasoning or salt and pepper, layer Havarti or shredded mozzarella over the broccoli and take both sides of ham and roll together and use two toothpicks to hold. Lay a thin strip of cheese on outside of ham between toothpicks. Repeat to make as many as you need.
Preheat Oven or Toaster Oven to 350, cook for 10 minutes or until everything is heated through (cheese is melted.)
