Chicken, Chicken, Chicken! What will we do with it next?
We all eat so much chicken it is nice to have different recipes because chicken is so much part of our diets. Well here is a Low Carb Five Spice Chicken that I grilled on the BBQ.
I marinated the chicken for 24 hours and boy did it ever create a lovely flavor. I didn’t show it in the video but with the left overs I put the breasts back on the BBQ and added some Swiss cheese and boy was it ever deli-sh!
4 skinless chicken breasts
2 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs oyster sauce
¼ cup salsa
1 tsp Chinese five spice
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
1. Place chicken breast in a zip lock bag.
2. In a bowl mix: salsa, soy sauce, oyster sauce, five spice and cayenne pepper.
3. Pour marinate over chicken in the bag.
4. Marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator. I marinate for 24 hours.
5. Preheat BBQ to 500 F.
6. Grill for 10 minutes on one side. Flip the breast over; pour the rest of the marinade over each breast.
7. Grill for another 10 minutes.
