Low Carb Chocolate Cake
I don’t think you would know the difference from a Chocolate Cake made with flour or a Chocolate Cake made with Black Beans. Now if I was to choose I would pick the low carb Black Bean Chocolate Cake. I found this recipe on “healthyindulgences.net”. I changed it up a bit but that is where it originally came from and I hope you enjoy it. Remember please wait for the next day or second day it will taste better. If you eat right away you might have a bean taste. It is Fabulous so be patient!
19 fl oz Unico Black Beans
5 eggs
4 Tbs cocoa
½ cup stevia
¼ cup xylitol
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
1tsp baking powder
1 Tb vanilla
6 Tb butter
1Tb water
Drain and rinse Black Beans, place in food processor with 3 eggs and process until smooth, add all
remaining ingredients in food processor and blend until completely blended.
Spray 9 inch round cake pan with Pam, cut parchment paper place in bottom of pan.
Pour cake batter in pan.
Pre heat over 325 and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Check with toothpick, if comes out clean cake is done. Low Carb Chocolate Icing will top off this cake perfectly!
Yield: 6 carbs per 1/10 piece.
