A lot of times I wrap my burger in lettuce but once and a while I like to have that bun. I found this recipe on beautyandthefoodie.com. I think it is one of the better buns to use when you are making that great hamburger. I found it is sturdy and is not over bearing with egg. It is a thin bun but a lot of bun is NOT needed for your hamburger.
If you don’t have a whoppie pan you can use a ramkin dish to bake your buns in or just pour your batter in a round circle. It would be better if it had edges though.
