Blue Cheese lovers this is for you!
I ordered the wedge salad from the Keg restaurant; it was a wedge of lettuce with a blue cheese dressing and bacon bits. It was so good I wanted to try making the same flavor.
Now, I am not a fan of blue cheese but I do enjoy eating this. I find it mild enough for us that are not fans of blue cheese, but then those that are fans of blue cheese will love this salad.
This is a great salad for entertaining!
1 cup sour cream
4 oz cream cheese
3 tbsp blue cheese
¼ tsp onion salt
Bacon bits
In a food processor add all ingredients except the bacon bits. Blend until smooth.
Take a whole lettuce and cut into quarters. Place a quarter lettuces on each dish; pour ¼ cup low carb blue cheese dressing on each wedge.
Sprinkle bacon bits on the top of the wedge.
Makes 4 servings
Yield: 5 net carbs per serving
