I just had to share with you. This is an induction recipe for any Atkin followers. This low carb bacon wrapped cheese stuffed hotdog is a real hit whenever I serve them. I have served them as part of the meal and also as appetizers, with a dish of Dijon mustard. HmmmmHmmmm.
1 pack of Schneiders Country Natural Wieners
Cheddar Cheese cut into thin slices
10 strips of bacon
Slice each wiener down the center making sure you don’t slice through to the other side.
Stuff the weiner with a slice of cheese
Wrap each weiner with a slice of bacon
Turn one side of bbq on medium heat. Place the wieners on the side of grill that is not turned on. (Close lid)
Cook 10 minutes on each side. Move all the wieners to the heated side of bbq, be very attentive there will be a lot of flames from the grease. Keep turning over until bacon is crispy.
Remove from grill and serve with your choice of sauce or Dijon Mustard.
Makes 10 servings
Yeild: 0 carbs (make sure all ingredients are 0 carbs on the packages)
