This crispy creaming Low Carb Avocado Chaffle is such a delight and very healthy.
Chaffles are a fun twist on breakfast, lunch or dessert that takes less than 10 minutes to make and only requires two ingredients: cheese and eggs unless you are stuffing it with my avocado mixer.
If you are following a keto or low carb diet you don’t have to wait for a special occasion or weekend to get your fill.
This guilt-free version is perfect for any day of the week.
So lets get started and I will show you how to make them!
1 ripe Avocado
1 teaspoon cumin spice (go by taste)
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon Herbamare (go by taste)
60 grams shredded cheese ( I used marble cheese)
Batter
1 egg
1 tablespoon almond flour
Sprinkle of Herbamare
Instructions
Remove ripe avocado from its shell, mash with a fork add herbamare and cumin, mix well, set aside.
In a separate bowl mix egg, herbamare and almond flour well.
Heat up your dash mini waffle maker, sprinkle your shredded cheese on the base of the waffle maker.
Spread half of the avocado mixer on top of the cheese.
With a spoon pour the egg mixer on top of the avocado, then add more shredded cheese on top of the egg mixer.
Put the waffle lid down and let it cook for just over 4 minutes. They will be very crispy!
Lift lid and using a fork remove the chaffle and place on a cooling rack.
Repeat the above to make the second chaffle.
