Spring is almost here which is a time for fresh asparagus!! Low Carb Asparagus Soup with Herbamare is one of my favorite soups.
5 ingredients, that’s all it takes to make this soup, you use the perfect amount ingredients then you will have the perfect soup!
2 tablespoons Salted Butter
1 3/4 cup (approx. 87grams) chopped onion
1 lb. (454 grams)asparagus pieces
1.5 to 2 cups chicken broth
1/2 tablespoon Herbamare ‘Spice or salt and pepper
Melt butter, add onion- sauté until transparent, add asparagus, broth and spice. Simmer until the asparagus is cooked.
Pour into a food processor and blend until completely smooth (know chunks) If you are using the processor while the liquid is hot, please slowly loosen the top and release the pressure.
Pour into bowls and serve!
