This Low Carb Almond Parmesan Cracker is one of my better crackers. I think you have to like Parmesan cheese to like these crackers. They turned out beautifully with a golden color and very crispy and the nicest thing about these Low Carb Almond Parmesan Crackers are there is no after taste like the Flax seed Crackers. They are great on there own or with cheese or even with dips. Last week I made an awesome https://www.lowcarbrecipeideas.com/low-carb-copy-cat-ccb-fcb-epicure-spice-dip/ and these Low Carb Almond Parmesan Crackers are amazing with this dip.
These are a must to try!
So lets get started and I will show you how to make them!
1 1/2 cup Almond Flour
1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 beaten Egg
Preheat oven 350 F bake for approximately 7 minutes.
In a bowl combine the almond flour, Parmesan cheese and garlic, add the beaten egg and mix well. I wear a glove and mix until it forms a nice firm dough.
Roll the dough into a ball and place on a silicone mat or parchment paper, cover the dough with another piece of parchment paper, using a rolling pin roll out the dough to 1/16 of an inch.
Peel off the top parchment paper, discard, and place the parchment with dough on a cookie sheet.
If you are using a silicone mat, before you preheat your oven take out your oven rack and place your silicone mat directly on the oven rack .
Once the oven reaches the required temperature place in oven and bake for approximately 7 minutes. Keep an eye if you see the outer edges getting brown, remove from the oven, turn the oven off and let it cool down but still very warm, put the crackers on a baking sheet and return them back in the oven.
Check them once in a while to see if they are crispy.
Servings: 120 crackers
Yield: My nutritional Factor does not cover 120 crackers so I calculated it with 60 crackers and then doubled it.
